Elizabeth Brown
LD14 Democrats Chair
I got involved with the Arizona Democrats in 2004 volunteering with the Kerry/Edward’s campaign which led me to be hired for Office Manager/Administrative Assistant for the Maricopa County Democratic Party. I then worked in the Office of Constituent Engagement under both Governors Napolitano and Brewer and then for the Arizona State Senate. I ran for the Arizona State Senate in 2016, 2018 and then in 2024.
I have served as both 1st & 2nd Vice Chair of our Legislative District, served on the fundraising committee and have been on the State Committee off and on since 2006. I am honored to be your Chair and look forward to working with all of you to re-elect Governor Hobbs, Secretary of State Fontes, Attorney General Mayes and all our Democratic candidates.
In solidarity,
Elizabeth Brown

I became a Democrat when as a classroom teacher, I saw first-hand the inequities in the educational system, the lack of funding, and the blatant disregard for public education.
I became a Democratic activist when I watched a man ride down an escalator, demean immigrants, and stir up the deepest, darkest moments in America’s history.
This activism led me, along with two friends, to create a group in our community (Trilogy at Power Ranch) that we named Dems & Friends. This group has grown in 10 years from a membership of 7 to over 150 and focuses on philanthropy, getting Democratic candidates elected, and writing (lots) of postcards to voters.
I’m a wife, mother, and grandmother who cares deeply about our country and wants the words in the Pledge of Allegiance, “With Liberty and Justice for All” to be a reality.
I look forward to being part of the LD14 Democrats leadership with the goal of creating a community of caring, informed, and involved voters.

As a Board member I serve on the Communication Committee.
I became politically active in 2016 and joined my local Democratic legislative district. I also became a Precinct Committeeperson and have been ever since. This year I decided to run for our LD14 Democrats Board and was elected 2nd Vice Chair.
I am passionate about educating our community about local and county positions and their importance. I am also a big supporter of our educators. I hope to help inspire and educate others in our community and register voters for our 2026 elections.

Brandon Martin
LD14 Democrats Secretary
As Secretary my duties are to be the meeting scribe and the document organizer.
I have been relatively politically active since the 2016 election cycle, where I was a delegate for Bernie Sanders for my district in Alaska. Since then, I have been active in phone/text banking, canvassing, and door-knocking. I’ve been with LD14 Democrats as a Precinct Committeeperson (PC). Currently, I am in my third year on the board since the latest redistricting. A major program focus for me is school-related issues.

Steve Allen
LD14 Democrats Treasurer
I am LD14 Democrats Treasurer. My responsibilities are to maintain the financial accounting for LD14 Democrats, generate reports and submit them to the Beacon campaign finance organization. In addition, we report the LD14 Democrats checking account details at the community and board meetings.
I began volunteering for the LD12 Democrats (which later became LD14 Democrats) by helping prepare literature packets and distribute them to Gilbert residents. At the polls we distributed literature to people as they arrived to vote.
My choice of Mechanical Engineering as a profession was influenced by a college professor, Dr. Farber, who headed up the Solar Energy department at the University of Florida. On the last day of class, he said “Now that you have the book knowledge…… get out there and make the world a better place!”
